The Z fabric used is based on the texture and dyeing of a miracle fabric created by one of the denim makers about 15 years ago.
Japanese factories had little experience with low tension weaving at the time, so the denim maker tried various settings on vintage shuttle looms through trial and error.
Various denim brands failed to produce it, but he was the only one who accidentally created an uneven, wavy, uneven fabric that had never been seen before.
In other words, Z was born by chance for some reason. Since this slub denim was created, the fabric has been improved with each production, and finally the current Z fabric is satisfactory. Texas cotton is used because the long fibers form the base of the irregular surface.
It is also a very rough cotton, but its characteristic is that it becomes soft with wear. The yarn is rope dyed and dipped six times in synthetic indigo (pure indigo), but the surface is a slightly lighter blue tone so that the weft thread can be seen through.
The Z yarn is spun loosely to speed up the fading speed.
It's a simple item, so it can be matched with any style. It forms a clean line overall.
It has a hand pocket, which is rare for a denim jacket, evolving it into a highly practical item.
The original top button has a picture of a raccoon, which is also the brand name.
The leather patch has a simple design with only the number "2", which is the icon of the brand. The texture increases with each wash, and you can enjoy the changes over time.
There is a single point of embroidery on the right shoulder. The color of the embroidery represents the red and white of the Japanese flag, and the color of denim is considered to be blue, and there is also a hidden playfulness like an anagram representing the flags of France and the Netherlands, where the designer lives.
Other unique details include the use of copper punched rivets.
